About the Department
Established as a department within the Faculty of Education at Yıldız Technical University in 2010 and subsequently transformed into a department of Turkish Language Education following the Higher Education Council’s (YÖK) 2016 regulations regarding faculties of education, our department represents our university’s long-standing educational heritage. The primary objective of our department is to train candidates to become “competent and qualified teachers of Turkish” who embody the identity of a researcher-educator by adopting a scientific approach from both academic and professional perspectives.
